Hole-by-Hole Description

Hole 1 - Distance: 309.5m
The rolling and undulating fairway is characteristic of the Bukit Chermin course. The two-tier green is guarded by a group of sand traps around the green. A feature of this green site is the tall Livistona Fan palms rising majestically behind the right sand trap.
Hole 2 - Distance: 401m
This hole plays differently from the tees. Set against the side of a hill slope, the back tee makes this hole a pronounced dogleg left. The regular tee reduces the Dogleg. The large green, which is about 20m lower than the fairway, is undulating and stretches lengthwise across the line of play. The green is very well bunkered and a pond is on the left of the green site.

Hole 3 - Distance: 371m
The rolling and undulating fairway is characteristic of the Bukit Chermin course. The two-tier green is guarded by a group of sand traps around the green. A feature of this green site is the tall Livistona Fan palms rising majestically behind the right sand trap.
Hole 4 - Distance: 175m
The meandering tee runs along the edge of the pond and is raised with a stonewall. The total length of the tee is 60m. The green is a target green, huge, undulating and gently sloping from the back towards the front.

Hole 5 - Distance: 433m
This is a short par-5 hole. To par the hole, the golfer must have a long drive with a good second shot to reach the green. The hole plays a slightly dogleg right and undulating fairways. A cluster of Livistona Fan palms is located behind the green.
Hole 6 - Distance: 154m
This is a fine par-3 hole that has been lengthened from 134m to 154m. The forced carry area is over the pond and the green comes right up to the water’s edge. The green is elongated and shallow. Sand traps are placed strategically on the left of the green.

Hole 7 - Distance: 305m
This is a short par-4 hole. The fairway slopes very gently up and levels off after the turning point. The green is large. The green site slopes on the right to the service road. There are sand traps on the left and right of the green.
Hole 8 - Distance: 292m
This uphill hole doglegs to the left after the turning point. The steep gradient of the fairway will not give any run for the tee shot. From the turning point, the fairway wraps itself around the hill on the left and levels off. Though short, the hole will be easy only after a good drive. The green is sited on a high plateau.

Hole 9 - Distance: 495m
This hole runs along Berlayer Creek. From about 200m from the green, the fairway has water on both sides. A hugh bunker stretches between the green and the marine pond. This presents a target green feature. The green is surrounded with dwarf coconut palms and the Keppel Straits in the background adds to the beautiful scenery.
Hole 10 - Distance: 495m
This is a picturesque hole and could be intimidating for the first timer. The back tee plays down about 15m to the sea. The drive has to carry over the pond stretching out to 160m from the back tee. From the landing area, the fairway moves upwards to the green guarded by a big sand trap on the front right side.

Hole 11 - Distance: 390m
This downhill hole doglegs to the right. The green is located across the pond and accuracy is important.
Hole 12 - Distance: 163m
This par-3 hole runs along the right-hand edge of the pond. The tee group is elevated and the green is also constructed with the front on the water’s edge. A group of sand traps guards the green in front, left and back.

Hole 13 - Distance: 320m
This is a testing hole, straight forward, going uphill all the way. The tee group is elevated and the gently rolling fairways through “Tembusu Country” makes playing this hole a very pleasant experience. The fairway slopes gently down from the teeing area and then goes uphill to level off eventually at the green site.
Hole 14 - Distance: 348m
The hole plays straight downhill. The pond of the 14th hole runs along the left side of the fairway and the sharply-sloped green sits on the edge of this pond. Standing proudly on the right side of the green is the 80-year-old Tamarind tree.

Hole 15 - Distance: 482m
This is very fine par-5 with a slight dogleg left. The flowing fairway runs down from the tee to the landing area set adjacent to a pond. It then turns slightly left and continues uphill to the green site. The third shot to the green is over a pond with a beautiful creek cascading on the left side of the fairway. Sand traps are on the left and right of the green site.
Hole 16 - Distance: 138m
The elevated tees vary in distance from 119m to 138m from the back. The green is undulating and the approach is well guarded by deep sand traps.

Hole 17 - Distance: 333m
This uphill undulating fairway with mounds strategically placed will ensure golfers some interesting lies for their second shot to the green. The green is guarded by a huge sand trap in front of it.
Hole 18 - Distance: 394m
This is a good finishing hole for the back nine. A hook or a slice could be disastrous. This hole is acutely doglegged left. The drive must reach at least 180m from the tees for a second clear shot to the green. The second shot will be a mild or short iron, depending on the drive. The green is undulating with sand traps on the left.
