A night of celebration and nostalgia:
Little Harry’s Pub officially opens

By Wong Kok Leong

Keppel Club’s social scene sparkled on Sept 26 with the official opening of the expanded Little Harry’s Pub. Though the pub has been welcoming members since late 2024, this celebration cemented its place as a favourite haunt of the Club’s community.

Over 100 members gathered for the occasion, filling the pub with lively chatter, laughter, and a true spirit of camaraderie. The evening brought together members of all ages and backgrounds, reflecting the vibrant tapestry of Keppel’s 2,500-strong family.

A two-piece band set the tone with upbeat tunes, sparking cheerful sing-alongs throughout the night. The evening’s success was further enhanced by the generosity of suppliers and members, who sponsored whisky, wine, mooncakes — befitting the Mid-Autumn Festival, and exciting lucky draw prizes. Their support underscored the strong bonds that make Keppel Club special. Adding to these were delicious bites prepared by our Tee Top kitchen.

Behind the scenes, the event was steered by Vice-President Eric Tan with the support of the House and Bar and the Swimming and Entertainment sub-committees, alongside our dedicated staff. For those who have yet to visit, Little Harry’s Pub awaits as the place to enjoy drinks, live music, and karaoke with friends in a warm, family-like atmosphere.

As the night closed with fond recollections of our Bukit Chermin days, the opening proved to be more than a celebration—it was a joyful reminder of the enduring Keppel spirit.
