Introducing Friends of Sime (FoS), a business initiative conceived to reach out to public golfers.
As part of our ongoing efforts to expand the golf community at Keppel Club, Friends of Sime is public-focused programme designed to attract more golfers to play at Sime on a pay-to-play system. The extension of Sime course to non-members is not only essential to generate new revenues for Keppel Club, it also revitalises the Club with more events and brings new visitors to our F&B outlets.
What is Friends of Sime (FoS)?
FoS is a prepaid programme where non-members sign up for a preferred top-up tier for FoS credits. The credits can be utilised on golf flights and dining as well as select golf events which are open to public golfers. For being the Friends of Sime, account holders enjoy additional FoS credits upon registration, and they are able secure a golf flight (for a fee) through our assisted booking service.
Will FoS impact Keppel Club members’ chances to play?
The introduction of FoS will neither impact nor reduce members’ chances to get a flight. This is because flights from FoS booking will come from the 60 percent public allocation and not the members’ flights. Keppel members will still get to enjoy their exclusive access to members-only events and Club facilities such as the tennis courts, gymnasium, mahjong rooms and Little Harry’s Pub.
