The response to November test play was overwhelming.

Thank you for all the valuable feedback and we are delighted to note the positive comments and suggestions for improvements.

We are expecting to obtain partial TOP approval for the buggy station only after mid-December.  On this basis, we will continue to organize a series of test plays to allow members who yet to have helped us to test our new and improved golf course till Dec 31, 2022.

The Test Play is only open to members who have yet to test play in November.  Test play period:  Dec 6 to 31, 2022.

Balloting information:

• Balloting opens on Nov 23, 2022 (00:00) and closes on Nov 26, 2022 (23:59).
• Ballot results will be released on Nov 30, 2022 (20:00) 
• Ball matches will be released on Dec 4, 2022 (09:00) via the Event Calendar on the Keppel Club website.
• Members are advised to form their flight comprising of members who have not test play in November.  Minimum three players per submission.  Any flight submission comprising of members who have test played in November will be disqualified.
• An email notification will be released to the principal booker’s registered email.

Terms and conditions are as follows:

• 10 flights (40 slots) per day.  We may increase the number of daily flights to 15 only when partial TOP on the buggy station is obtained.
• One game per member throughout the whole test period, i.e. Dec 6 to Dec 31, 2022.
• Members will not be charged for this game.
• Members’ guests are not allowed.
• Each member can only submit their name once. Any repeat submissions will be disqualified.
• No replacement slot will be given due to inclement weather.
• Members will need to inform the club at least 5 days prior to the date of play if they are unable to play otherwise the No Show penalty will apply. No replacement slots will be given for any cancellations.
  
  

• After the end of the game, Members will need to complete a survey to provide their feedback

Plans for January 2023

We are preparing to move towards a soft launch stage in early January 2023.   Soft launch stage will also include public golfers with limited flights availability.

We seek your kind understanding and patience to allow us to take gradual move towards opening to full capacity in March 2023.  Until then till March 2023, we can only progressively increase the number of flights daily.

More details will be released in our next update in mid-December 2022.

December is a monsoon period, and the Sime course is located within the water catchment area.   Be expected that playing conditions of the golf course will have its limitations because the golf course is built on a soil base.  Continuous upgrading works to the drainage is on-going.
