Greetings from Keppel Club!

We are pleased to inform that Keppel Club will be participating in the upcoming 2023 Inter-Club League (ICL) games to be organized by Singapore Golf Association (SGA) from March to July 2023.

The club will be conducting the selection rounds at Keppel Club Sime Course. Please refer to detail and criteria listed below.

Classification of Divisions for Inter Club League

Men’s Divisions:

• Premier: No Handicap Restriction

• A: 5.0 to 9.9

• B: 10.0 & above

• Senior: No handicap restriction (50 years or older as of 1st Jan 2023)

Ladies’ Divisions:

• A: No Handicap Restriction

• B: 8.0 & above

• Senior: No handicap restriction (50 years or older as of 1st Jan 2023)

Where applicable, the player’s division will be based on his/her lowest Handicap Index (H.I.) for the year 2022 that is, February 2022 to January 2023. Members can access the SGA Centralized Handicapping System (CHS) via this link [CHS].

Eligibility, Format of play, and Date of play for Selection Rounds

• The format of play will be MODIFIED STABLEFORD GROSS (max double bogey). 
• All participants will be playing off at “zero” H.I.
• The maximum Handicap Index for the selection round is 18.0 for both Men’s and Ladies Division as of 01^st December 2022

Selection Rounds

• Sunday, Dec 11, 2022 (AM) – Men’s Premier, A & B divisions

• Wednesday, Dec 14, 2022 (AM) – Ladies’ and Men’s Senior Divisions

Final Round

• Saturday, Dec 17, 2022 (AM) – Men’s and Ladies’ Divisions

Selection Criteria

• Selection will be based on the table above.

• The top 8 from each division will qualify for the final round on Dec 17, 2022.

• The top 4 from the final round will represent Keppel Club for the upcoming ICL.

• The “Captain’s Pick” players will be evaluated and selected by the Selection Committee chaired by the Keppel Club League Captain.

Important Note

• Players must make themselves available for competition rounds when required.

• Players should be mindful to behave ethically and observe and demonstrate sportsmanship, courtesy, integrity and teamwork.

• Any misconduct by players will be subject to disciplinary inquiry and may result in suspension from representing Keppel Club and recovery of all benefits from the player(s) by the Club.

• The Club will recover all benefits from the player should he/she withdraw from the team without a valid reason.

• The decision of Keppel Club League Captain is final.

Registration information:

1. Buggy fee of $29.96/pax (inclusive of GST) will be charged.
2. Members are not allowed to form their own flights.
3. Registrations open Friday Dec 2, 2022, 9am and close Monday Dec 5, 2022, 11.59pm.
4. All registration is on first come first served basis.
5. Bookings must be made through the Event Calendar on the Keppel Club website.

• Select the ICL selection round.

• Choose your preferred division for the selection round.

• Click on “Click Here to View Detail”

• Fill and submit the form.

• You will receive confirmation of the booking through your email address registered to Keppel Club.

• Drawlist will be sent to your registered email address one week before your game.

Keppel golfing members, who tentatively meet the above requirements are encouraged to register before the closing date.
